Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 11 April

Sales activity in Perth declined by seven per cent over the week, with 641 transactions recorded.
Listings for saleThe decline in sales can be attributed to a five per cent decrease in house sales and a 35 per cent decrease in vacant land sales. Unit sales experienced a four per cent increase over the week.

The total number of properties for sale in Perth increased by one per cent over the week, to 14,931.

Listings for houses were stable, while unit and vacant land listings both increased by two per cent.

The total number of listings recorded this week is similar to levels recorded four week ago, and two per cent lower than the same time last year.

REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent grew by a marginal one per cent over the week.

This is similar to levels seen four weeks ago and two per cent lower than the same time last year.
